National Do Not Call Registry
When you want off a call list, the simplest way to accomplish this is to register your phone number with the National Do Not Call Registry. While you can do so online at donotcall.gov or by calling 888-382-1222, this may not mean the calls will instantly stop. File a Complaint
Should you continue to get calls from telemarketers after placing your number on the National Do Not Call Registry, your next step can be to file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). To do so, you can use the same website or phone number as you did to place your phone number on the national registry.
