The World Cup of Hockey, an international ice hockey tournament organized by the National Hockey League Players’ Association and National Hockey League. Interestingly the Hockey world cup was first anticipated in 1976 by the Canada Cup.
Total eight teams participated, Team Canada, Russia, Finland, USA, North America, Europe, Czech Republic, having three rounds as the first one is the Preliminary round, then Semi-finals and the Final World Cup Hockey tournament. For the preliminary round, the eight teams are split into Group A and Group B.
On Wednesday, Team Canada defeated team Europe with 4-1 in the final preliminary round game in the World Cup of Hockey in Toronto. On with this victory, the first semifinal round will face Canada and North America or Russia and again it was the best-on-best tournament as team Canada steps ahead to the Final round of Hockey World Cup with 5-3 win over Russia.
The game was super special for everyone as the defeated team Europe was completely unexpected. But still the climax is left as the Final round will be between Team Europe and Team Canada, the best of three; let’s see who’ll win the tournament. The worlds and especially all Europeans and Canadians are waiting for the historical event.
